Mein Bild
In Mori (Stockelsdorf) bei Lübeck aufgewachsen, habe ich bereits von 1916 bis 1918 am Ersten Weltkrieg im Füsilierregiment "Königin" Nr. 86 teilgenommen. Im August 1939 wurde ich als Veteran in die Wehrmacht eingezogen. In diesem Blog veröffentliche ich mein Kriegstagebuch.

... und nun? ... and now?

Liebe Leser,

vor gut einer Woche haben wir den letzten Tagebucheintrag lesen können. Viele Strapazen liegen hinter Dieter, seit er im Sommer 1916 zum FR 86 eingezogen wurde. Manches mal schien es sehr gefährlich für ihn zu werden, etwa 1917 in Flandern, bei der Frühjahrsoffensive 1918 oder gar einen Tag vor dem Waffenstillstand, als es feindliche Flieger auf ihn abgesehen hatten...

... doch
nun ist der Krieg vorbei und Dieter wieder bei seiner Familie. Wie geht es nun weiter und was gibt es noch über Dieter und sein Tagebuch zu berichten?

Ich möchte Euch um etwas Geduld bitten, in kürze wird es einen weiteren Beitrag darüber geben, wie es weitergeht. 
Mein Dank gilt jedoch bereits jetzt allen Lesern und allen, die in großer Fleißarbeit geholfen haben, dieses Tagebuch in anderen Sprachen verfügbar zu machen.

abount a week ago, we read Dieter's last diary entry. He had endured a lot of exertions, since he was called up to the FR 86. Sometimes it seemed to get quite precarious for him, like in Flanders 1917, in the spring offensive of 1918 or even one day before armictice, when enemy airplanes had targeted him......

... but now the war is over and Dieter back home again with his family. How does it go on and is there more to be told of Dieter and his diary?

I ask for a little patience, there will shortly be information on how it will develop.

But already now, my sincere thanks go to all readers and to all that helped with their work to make this diary available in other languages.

Caro lettore,
 
circa un settimana fa abbiamo letto l'ultima annotazione di Dieter. Egli dovette sopportare molte fatiche dal giorno in cui fu chiamato all'Fr 86. A volte la faccenda si rivelava molto precaria per lui, come nelle Fiandre nel 1917, nell'offensiva di primavera del 1918 o perfino il giorno prima dell'armistizio, quando gli aerei nemici l'avevano preso come bersaglio.....

...ma ora la guerra era finita e Dieter è di nuovo a casa con la sua famiglia. Come proseguirà la storia e c'è ancora da dire su Dieter ed il suo diario?

Vi chiedo un po' di pazienza, a breve ci saranno notizie su come la faccenda si svilupperà.

Ma già adesso, il mio sincero ringraziamento a tutti i lettori e a tutti coloro che hanno contribuito con il loro lavoro a rendere questo diario disponibile in altre lingue.
