Vormittags Typhus-Schutzimpfung. Abends um 7 Uhr hören wir im „Château“ zu Gistel die Übertragung der Führerrede aus dem Reichstag. Alle sind gewaltig beeindruckt.
In the morning typhus inoculations. In the evening at 7 in the "chateau" of Gistel we listen to the broadcast of the Führer's speech* from parliament**. All are hugely impressed.* to mark the end of the successful campaign in the West
** not the familiar Reichstag building. After the 1933 fire the so-called parliament met in the Kroll Opera House.
