Insdesondere der 5 Teil zeigt eroberte Deutsche Stellungen und gibt somit einen guten Eindruck über die Situation an der Front zu dieser Zeit. Die Schlacht an der Ancre war die abschließende Aktion der Schlacht an der Somme 1916 und wurde am 13. November 1916 durch die 5. British Army gestartet.
The Film Archive of the Imperial War Museum contains a film film covering the Battle at the Ancre during its second phase of the offensive 15th september, Especially the 5th part shows captured german positions and is giving good insights of the situation at the front at that time. The Battle of the Ancre was the final act of the 1916 Battle of the Somme. Launched on 13 November 1916 by the British Fifth Army.
