In seinem letzten Beitrag über Dieters Tagebuch verbindet Bill Lamin (http://wwar1.blogspot.com) das bisher beschriebene Training mit der Art von Ausbildung, wie sie in Erich Maria Remarque's Im Westen nichts Neues zu sehen ist. Da ich diesen Vergleich recht passend finde, habe ich einige Ausschnitte der 1930er Version des Filmes beigefügt.
In his last post about Dieter´s Diary, Bill Lamin (http://wwar1.blogspot.com) pointed out the following:
"Dieter is not yet involved in the fighting yet, and is going through some gruelling training of a kind instantly recognisable to anyone who has seen the film of Erich Maria Remarque's Im Westen nichts Neues / All quiet on the Western Front."
As Bill made a really good point i have encluded some extracts of the 1930ties version of that film.
