Für einen erkrankten Kameraden werde ich nach Cheret bei Bruyères kommandiert. Dort mache ich Stationsdienst. Unsere Station befindet sich in einem kleinen Bunker über dem Schloß.

Der Stationsdienst, den wir mit 2 Mann verrichten, gefällt mir tadellos. Das hält man schon aus! Kein Mensch kümmert sich hier um uns. Cheret und Bruyères liegen beide im Festungsgürtel von Laon.

Mi piace il servizio che svolgo con due uomini nella stazione. E' qualcosa che possiamo ben sopportare!. Nessuno fa caso a noi lì. Sia Cheret che Bruyères sono situate sulla cintura difensiva di Laon.
