Es ist viel Schnee gefallen. Statt des angesetzten Exerzierdienstes findet ein Ausmarsch statt. Nachmittags gehe ich zu Finks nach Zweifall. Es kommt das Gerücht auf, dass wir ins Sennelager [Truppenübungsplatz] sollen. 
Lots of snow has fallen. Instead of the planned exercises there is a march. In the afternoon I go to Zweifall to the Finks' house. The rumour circulates that we are to go to the Sennelager training camp.
