Mittags rücke ich mit dem Trupp Schäfer ab nach Walincourt. Hier erfolgt die Neueinteilung der gesamten Abteilung. Ich werde dem früheren Blinkerzug, dem jetzigen 2. Fernsprechzug zugeteilt und komme hier zum Trupp Winter. Nachmittags rücken wir nach Clary ab und beziehen dort auf einem Boden Quartier.
At noon I leave with Squad Schäfer for Walincourt. Here, the whole detachment is being reorganized. I am assigned to the former signallers platoon, now the 2nd communications platoon, and join the squad Winter. In the afternoon, we move off to Clary and take quarters in a loft.

A mezzogiorno parto per Walincourt con il plotone Schäfer. Qui stanno riorganizzando l'intero distaccamento. Vengo assegnato al precedente plotone segnalatori, oggi denominato secondo Plotone Comunicazioni, e ci uniamo al plotone Winter. Nel pomeriggio partiamo in direzione Clary e ci sistemiamo in una soffitta.
