Am 20. November stand das Regiment zusammen mit dem I.R. 31 auf dem Lukischkiplatz in Wilna vor dem Generalobersten von Eichhorn. Der Höchstkommandierende hielt eine Ansprache, in welcher er seinem Stolz Ausdruck gab, eine so wohl bewährte Truppe unter seinem Kommando zu haben.
